"Quiero reconocer y dar gracias a la Dra.
Jacqueline Maliwat. Me atendió de una dolencia que venía presentando
en el brazo derecho y que no cedían los dolores con ningún
tratamiento y ella con el metodo de acupuntura logró que
desaparecieran los dolores hasta el día de hoy. De esto hace 6 meses
y me siento muy bien.
Muchas gracias y que Dios la bendiga."

The
doctor will begin by asking you questions about your past and
present health. It is important to get an overall view of your
body’s health in order to understand your present illness. This can
include information about several systems in the body including
digestion, urination, respiration, and menstrual cycles for women.
Be prepared to answer questions about all aspects of your health |
|
After you have described your symptoms, the doctor will perform any
physical exams necessary, check your vitals, and also
inspect your tongue and pulse |
|
Based on your signs and symptoms, the doctor will assess your
overall pattern and create a treatment plan which can include
any of the modalities of TCM including acupuncture and herbal
medicine |
|
According to your diagnosis, the practitioner will choose specific
points on the body to be needled. Points used will vary and can be
around local affected areas as well as distal or contra-lateral
points. The needles will be retained for about 20 to 30
minutes |
|
Recommendations
for follow up treatment will be made based on your response
to treatment of acupuncture and/or herbal medicine.
Also recommendations will be made to improve your diet
and/or lifestyle according to your specific pattern |
After your
treatment—
|
Relax. It’s common for patient’s to feel very relaxed after being
needled. Try to avoid any vigorous activity afterwards |
|
Wait
several hours before engaging in activities that might strain
the body, e.g. strenuous exercise, going into a hot tub,
taking drugs or drinking alcohol |
|
Mild or moderate activity
that maintains your
present state of tranquility such as quiet meditation or a
short walk after treatment is encouraged |
